An ALSO workshop was held at the CPSP Regional Center in Multan, bringing together senior faculty and consultants to update clinical skills and share recent academic developments. The event featured in-person instruction, remote participation by the CPSP president, and strong engagement from trainees primarily from Southern Punjab.
The workshop was led by a team of senior faculty from across Punjab, with Prof. Dr. Mohammad Tayyab, Council Member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, formally opening the proceedings. Senior consultants also participated as instructors, contributing practical expertise and case-based learning throughout the sessions.
Twenty-one candidates attended the workshop in person, most of whom traveled from districts in Southern Punjab to take part. The sessions focused on hands-on training and knowledge updates relevant to the participants’ clinical practice, and instructors emphasized applying current standards of care.
Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, President of CPSP, addressed the workshop remotely, sharing updates from his recent visit to the United Kingdom. He highlighted academic collaborations and accomplishments observed during that visit, and commended the organizers for the excellent arrangements and the participants for their enthusiasm for continuing professional development.
The workshop concluded with participants and faculty gathering for a group photograph to mark the occasion, reflecting the organizers’ intent to strengthen clinical skills and foster regional collaboration in medical education.
