6th PYLI Day 4 Climate Leadership Training Pakistan

On the fourth day of the sixth Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative training, organized by SSDO Pakistan in partnership with Climate Optics, participants engaged in interactive sessions, group activities and in-depth discussions on climate leadership, building practical knowledge and skills to drive sustainable solutions across Pakistan.

The Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative is a multi-day capacity building program designed to develop leadership skills among young changemakers. The sixth edition of the program continues that focus, bringing together emerging leaders to learn practical approaches to climate action and community resilience.

Day four emphasized hands-on learning. Sessions combined presentations and facilitated conversations with collaborative group exercises, enabling participants to apply concepts in real time. The format encouraged peer learning and collective problem solving while exploring leadership roles in climate response.

Through these activities, participants are strengthening their ability to design and advocate for sustainable initiatives. Trainers and facilitators guided attendees on translating ideas into actionable plans, with an emphasis on collaboration, communication and community-centered approaches.

Organizers said the training aims to produce a cohort of equipped youth leaders who can contribute to Pakistan’s climate resilience and sustainable development. The program will continue to consolidate participants’ skills and support their capacity to implement locally relevant solutions.
