COMSATS diplomacy strengthened by Turkey and Jordan

COMSATS diplomacy advances as Turkish and Jordanian ambassadors visit the Secretariat, discuss initiatives and plant trees to reaffirm support.

H.E. İrfan Neziroğlu, Ambassador of Turkey in Pakistan, visited the COMSATS Secretariat at the invitation of Ambassador Dr. Mohammad Nafees Zakaria, Executive Director COMSATS. During the meeting the Executive Director briefed Ambassador Neziroğlu on his recent meeting with the President of Ghana, progress across COMSATS programmes and several new initiatives intended to deepen scientific collaboration. The ambassador planted a sapling as a gesture symbolizing Turkey’s continued support for the COMSATS mission and its role in regional cooperation under the banner of COMSATS diplomacy.

H.E. Dr. Maen Khreasat, Ambassador of Jordan in Pakistan, also visited the Secretariat by invitation of the Executive Director. Ambassador Maen lauded the Executive Director’s contributions and his meeting with the COMSATS Chairman, and the two discussed forthcoming COMSATS activities in Jordan aimed at enhancing research partnerships and capacity building. Ambassador Khreasat planted a tree to reaffirm Jordan’s commitment to COMSATS initiatives and to the principles of cooperation and sustainability promoted through COMSATS diplomacy.

The visits reflect sustained engagement with member states and underline COMSATS diplomacy as a platform for scientific exchange, institutional progress and environmental solidarity, reinforcing ties between Pakistan, Turkey and Jordan through shared initiatives and joint planning.
