Islamabad Museum hosts Vietnamese Deputy Head to view a new gallery and discuss cultural collaboration to strengthen Pakistan Vietnam ties.

Dr. Abdul Ghafoor, Deputy Director of DOAM, welcomed Mr. Truong Van Thang, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Vietnam, who was accompanied by an advisor to the Federal Minister at the Ministry of National Heritage & Culture Division, on an official visit to the Islamabad Museum. The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the institution’s latest offerings and the museum’s role in preserving national heritage.

During the tour the delegation explored the newly announced gallery and viewed the museum’s unique collection, which highlights the depth and diversity of Pakistan’s cultural history. Curators outlined the themes of the gallery and discussed how the displays contextualise regional traditions and artistic legacies for local and international audiences.

The meeting opened practical avenues for future cultural collaboration, including joint exhibitions and shared initiatives aimed at strengthening ties between Pakistan and Vietnam.
