WMDC Convocation Celebrates MBBS and BDS Class of 2025

WMDC Convocation honoured MBBS and BDS graduates on 27 September 2025 with medals and awards, celebrating academic excellence at Women Medical and Dental College Abbottabad.

Women Medical and Dental College Abbottabad hosted its MBBS and BDS convocation on 27 September 2025 in the main auditorium, marking a milestone for batches 2011–2025 with an audience of more than 1,000 guests, faculty, graduates and family members.

The ceremony was honoured by the presence of Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Zia-ul-Haq, Vice Chancellor of Khyber Medical University Peshawar, alongside Registrar Mr. Inamullah. In his address Prof. Dr. Zia-ul-Haq acknowledged the institutional leadership of Managing Director Dr. Azhar Khan Jadoon and his associates for steering the college to this achievement. Principal Prof. Dr. Salma Aslam Kundi and Principal Prof. Dr. Shahid Khan paid tribute to the collective dedication of teachers, students and parents that made the success possible.

The WMDC Convocation recognised outstanding academic performance with medals and awards for top MBBS and BDS graduates. Among the BDS achievers, Dr. Satia Qazi Sohail was awarded nine gold medals, Dr. Sidra Naseer secured seven gold medals, and both Dr. Reem Noor and Dr. Fatima Khan received four medals each. Faculty and staff across administrative and academic departments received souvenirs for their exceptional contributions to the institution.

To conclude the proceedings, Principal Prof. Dr. Salma Aslam Kundi and Managing Director Dr. Azhar Jadoon presented a commemorative shield to Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Zia-ul-Haq, bringing the convocation to a close as a celebration of academic excellence and institutional achievement in Abbottabad.
