A new Padel Tennis court in F-7/2 Islamabad was inaugurated to strengthen grassroots sports and expand recreational options for students and young athletes across the capital. The facility is intended to serve as a local hub where emerging players can learn and participate in one of the world’s fastest-growing sports.
The inauguration ceremony was led by Federal Secretary, Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC), Mr. Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, with Director General, Pakistan Sports Board, Mr. Yasir Pirzada in attendance. Officials highlighted how the new court will provide structured opportunities for youth engagement and community-level competitions that support athletic development.
Local schools and youth clubs are expected to benefit from access to the Padel Tennis facility in F-7/2, with the Ministry of IPC and the Pakistan Sports Board continuing their efforts to promote healthy, active lifestyles. The initiative reflects a broader push to create more pathways for youth development through sports across Islamabad and neighbouring areas.
