Under the Chief Minister Punjab’s Food Safety Mission, the Punjab Food Authority has rolled out the School Nutrition Program Phase II across 40 schools in Lahore, with UNICEF joining the initiative to support implementation of nutrition and well‑being activities.
Director General Punjab Food Authority Asim Javaid said every child will be provided with safe, nutritious food and essential awareness to ensure a healthier and stronger future. He emphasized that the School Nutrition Program will combine food safety measures with education to improve eating habits among schoolchildren.
