Rawalpindi Board Strengthens Exam Transparency

Rawalpindi Board inspects centers to ensure exam transparency and strict discipline during 2025 ninth grade annual exams.

On 14 October 2025 Chairman of the Rawalpindi Board Muhammad Adnan Khan and Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan conducted a detailed inspection of examination centres across Rawalpindi Division for the ninth (Part I) Secondary Annual Exams 2025, reviewing arrangements, staff performance and facilities to safeguard a fair testing environment.

The chairman reiterated the board’s zero tolerance stance toward any form of cheating, irregularity or unlawful assistance, stressing that such incidents will not be tolerated and will be dealt with firmly to preserve exam transparency and the credibility of results.

Officials said the examinations are being held in line with the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and directives of Provincial Minister for Higher Education Rana Sikandar Hayat, with the objective of creating conditions where student performance is assessed solely on merit. Staff were instructed to perform their duties with utmost honesty and transparency.

The Controller of Examinations described an effective monitoring mechanism put in place to maintain exam transparency, adding that any breach of examination SOPs will trigger strict disciplinary action. He emphasised that fair conduct during exams is essential for protecting students’ future prospects and public confidence in the board.

Board spokesperson Arsalan Ali Cheema said these inspections and strengthened procedures are intended to ensure orderly exams and to reinforce trust in the system, with ongoing measures to address any concerns promptly and transparently.
