GO AI Hub launch in Islamabad advances Pakistan KSA digital collaboration in AI, data infrastructure and talent development under MoIT&T and SIFC.

Islamabad, October 18, 2025. The GO AI Hub Pakistan was inaugurated today in Islamabad as a joint initiative of the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and KSA’s GO Telecom (Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Company). The launch of the GO AI Hub advances Pakistan–KSA digital collaboration and establishes a platform for AI development and data infrastructure cooperation.

The high-profile ceremony brought together government and industry leaders including Federal Minister for IT & Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja, CEO GO Telecom Yahya bin Saleh Al-Mansour, senior officials from the Special Investment Facilitation Council and representatives from Pakistan’s technology ecosystem. Attendance underscored the shared intent to deepen technical and commercial ties between the two countries.

Under the SIFC framework, the partners signed memoranda focused on data centre and AI infrastructure development, the establishment of a GO Talent Hub to build local skills, and the operationalisation of GO AI Hub Pakistan. These agreements aim to accelerate deployment of secure data infrastructure while growing human capital in AI and related fields.

Officials noted that the initiative follows high-level engagements and the prime minister’s recent visit to Riyadh, with SIFC playing a central role in turning bilateral intent into practical investment partnerships. CEO GO Telecom reaffirmed his company’s long-term commitment to Pakistan’s digital growth and to supporting the GO AI Hub as a hub for collaboration and capacity building.

The GO AI Hub is expected to contribute to Pakistan’s digital transformation by strengthening data infrastructure, enabling AI projects and nurturing talent through the GO Talent Hub. The partnership positions both nations as active collaborators in the global innovation landscape, with immediate focus on scalable infrastructure and workforce development.
