Jahangir Khan officially inaugurated the One World Squash Foundation at K2 Squash in Philadelphia, a milestone event aimed at expanding opportunities for players across levels. The ribbon cutting marked the formal launch of the foundation and signalled a renewed focus on development and unity within the squash community.
The inauguration was followed by an exhibition match featuring the Legends National Squash League, staged to promote the sport and inspire young athletes to pursue excellence. Organizers said the exhibition was designed to showcase veteran talent while encouraging the next generation of players to engage with competitive squash.
Our aim is to support people who come to the USA and those who are truly passionate about improving their squash. This foundation will provide them with the right platform to develop their skills and achieve their dreams.
As president of One World Squash, Jahangir Khan announced that the foundation will organize a $15,000 Men’s and $6,000 Women’s Professional Squash Championship in March 2026 at K2 Squash in Philadelphia, creating valuable international competition opportunities and reinforcing the foundation’s commitment to player development.
Jahangir Khan also expressed appreciation for owner Karamat Ullah, praising his exceptional efforts and dedication in promoting squash in the USA. He noted that Karamat Ullah’s vision and hard work were instrumental in making the foundation possible and in expanding pathways for aspiring players.
The event concluded with a cake cutting led by owner Karamat Ullah, joined by Jahangir Khan and Coach Naveed Alam, celebrating the successful launch of One World Squash and a shared mission to elevate the game on an international stage.
