Muhammad Amir Siddiqui, president of a progressive welfare organisation, said Pakistan is a peaceful and sovereign country where peace and security cannot be compromised. He stressed that Pakistan seeks good relations with its neighbours but has repeatedly faced conspiracies aimed at destabilising the country, a pattern he attributed to some neighbours cooperating with hostile elements.
Siddiqui credited national unity, political maturity and the country’s security institutions for thwarting plots designed to weaken Pakistan. He praised the armed forces for delivering decisive defeats to those he described as enemies and for upholding the country’s pride and sovereignty. According to him, the combined performance of the army, air force and navy under Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir demonstrated full-spectrum capability that surprised observers and reinforced Pakistan security.
Referring to recent operations, Siddiqui highlighted actions such as Operation Bunyan Al Marsous and efforts against violent extremist cells, calling them clear proof of the state’s resolve. He said these security operations and the unity of the nation sent a firm message that attempts to undermine peace and stability will not succeed.
Siddiqui also said political leadership and coordinated military strategy had exposed and isolated hostile actors, noting that cooperation and teamwork were crucial in responding to regional challenges. He urged neighbouring states and the Taliban administration to take unequivocal steps to prevent cross border terrorism and ensure that no safe havens are allowed to threaten Pakistan’s peace.
The social leader expressed sorrow over the October 13 Muridke incident, saying it saddened the nation and would not have occurred had better precautions been in place. He emphasised that supporters of Ahle Sunnat are peaceful citizens who stand by Pakistan and its ideals, and he called for continued solidarity to defend the country’s security and harmony.
