Syed Qaim Ali Shah Jillani, senior Pakistan Peoples Party leader and former chief minister of Sindh, together with MNA Dr Nafisa Shah, handed over solar plates to residents of Union Council Gujjo, Union Council Pir Mangion and Union Council Khanpur. The distribution of solar plates is part of an initiative to promote renewable energy and provide practical support to local families.
Community members who received the solar plates said the equipment will help meet basic household energy needs and reduce dependence on conventional supplies. By expanding access to clean energy, the project aims to ease daily challenges faced by households and small local enterprises in these union councils.
The leaders involved highlighted the role of renewable solutions in strengthening local resilience and supporting development at the grassroots level. The distribution reflects a focus on tangible community support and promoting sustainable energy use through the provision of solar plates.
Organisers indicated that the campaign is intended to encourage wider adoption of clean power in the area while delivering immediate benefits to the residents of the targeted union councils.
