PHEC Chairman Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan urged science-led action at the Nutrition Conference to strengthen food security and research in Pakistan.

Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan (HI, SI), Chairman of the Punjab Higher Education Commission, attended the inaugural session of the international conference Nutrition in a Changing World: Advancing Science in Food & Nutrition as chief guest, underlining the urgent need to link research with practical interventions. The Nutrition Conference brought together leading experts, researchers and professionals to examine emerging trends, challenges and innovations across food and nutritional sciences.

Speaking at the opening, Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan stressed that academic research must translate into workable solutions to confront global nutrition challenges.
