Denmark backs Pakistan green growth at SDPI expo, supporting climate-smart SMEs and an investor roadshow to accelerate the green transition.

At the 3rd Sustainability Investment Expo hosted by the Sustainable Development Policy Institute, Denmark actively supported Pakistani entrepreneurs by enabling innovative SMEs developing climate-smart solutions to present their ideas at an Investor Roadshow, a move that underlines Denmark’s commitment to Pakistan’s green growth.

Deputy Head of Mission Peter Emil Nielsen joined Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Climate Change Musadiq Malik and Federal Minister for Investment Qaiser Ahmad Sheikh at the inaugural plenary, sharing practical insights from Denmark’s green transition and reaffirming a shared commitment to a sustainable and climate-resilient Pakistan.

The Investor Roadshow connected entrepreneurs with investors and businesses driving sustainable change, giving climate-smart SMEs a platform to attract financing and partnerships that can scale homegrown solutions to Pakistan’s climate challenges.

Denmark’s backing at the expo highlights growing cooperation between Danish partners and Pakistani stakeholders to accelerate the green transition and foster green growth through investment, innovation and capacity building.
