The Grand Finale of the FDE Innovators Club 2025 took place at Islamabad College for Boys (G-6/3), bringing together young innovators from across the capital. The event highlighted practical learning and student-led research, with a strong focus on STEM fields.
Mr Nadeem Mahbub, Federal Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, attended as chief guest alongside senior officials from the Ministry and the Federal Directorate of Education. Their presence underlined federal support for school-level innovation and hands-on science education.
Students from more than 400 institutions exhibited projects spanning Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Energy, Environment, and Computer Science, demonstrating the reach and variety of ideas supported by the FDE Innovators programme. Many projects reflected local challenges and practical solutions, highlighting how the initiative fosters applied learning within Islamabad schools.
Organisers expressed appreciation to students, mentors, and participating schools for their commitment and creativity, noting that the FDE Innovators platform continues to encourage collaboration between educators and young researchers. The finale served as both a celebration of achievement and a catalyst for further innovation in school education.
