H.E. Dr. Brahim Romani, Ambassador of Algeria to Pakistan, visited the TDAP headquarters in Karachi on 04 November 2025 and met with Mr. Faiz Ahmad, Chief Executive of TDAP, and Mr. Sheryar Taj, Secretary TDAP to discuss ways to deepen commercial ties.
The talks focused on practical measures to enhance Pakistan Algeria trade, including the possibility of sending sectoral business delegations and organising country-specific trade events that can help exporters and importers on both sides identify new opportunities.
Participants stressed the value of further strengthening the Pakistan-Algeria Business Council established between the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI) in December 2022, and explored cooperation in agriculture, the textile industry, energy and minerals as priority areas.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to stay connected and to support each other’s efforts to promote bilateral trade and economic cooperation, with TDAP and the Algerian mission agreeing to follow up on next steps to convert discussions into tangible business engagement.
