IWMB hosted students from Karakoram International University, Gilgit-Baltistan, at Trail 5, MHNP for an interactive session and field visit focused on wildlife conservation and environmental awareness.
The programme combined discussion-based interaction with on-site observation to deepen understanding of local ecosystems and the challenges facing native species. Speakers encouraged students to consider practical steps for protecting habitats and stressed the role of community engagement in long-term wildlife conservation.
Organisers said the experience is designed to empower the next generation of conservationists and to strengthen links between academic institutions and conservation bodies. Students left the visit with renewed interest in field-based learning and a clearer sense of how they can contribute to environmental protection in their home regions.
