On 8 November 2025 a captivating Balochistan Musical Night at Lok Virsa in Islamabad enthralled audiences as part of the week-long heritage and cultural celebrations under Lok Mela 2025.
The evening showcased the depth of Balochistan’s music and artistic traditions, with performers delivering soulful songs and instrumental pieces that reflected regional stories and identity. The Balochistan Musical Night highlighted traditional costumes, melodies and artistic expressions that resonate across the province.
Ms. Farah Naz Akbar, Parliamentary Secretary for the National Heritage and Culture Division, attended as the chief guest and personally engaged with the artists. She praised their dedication, encouraged continued efforts to preserve cultural heritage, and underscored the role of such events in strengthening national unity through the arts.
As a gesture of goodwill and tradition, Ms. Farah Naz Akbar was presented with a Balochi shawl, a symbol of Baloch hospitality and cultural pride.
