On November 6, 2025 the Department of Business Administration at SZABIST Islamabad conducted a SmartPLS Workshop led by Dr. Shafique, Faculty Member and Program Manager MBA MHRM. The event brought together MS and PhD students to focus on practical aspects of structural equation modeling using SmartPLS.
Dr. Shafique guided participants through the software’s features and real-world applications, emphasizing how SmartPLS can support hypothesis testing and robust data analysis in business research. Attendees followed hands-on demonstrations that clarified model building and result interpretation relevant to their theses and research projects.
The workshop strengthened students’ understanding of research methodologies and analytical techniques, equipping them with skills directly applicable to academic work and professional roles in Pakistan’s growing research landscape. The session underlined the department’s ongoing commitment to enhancing research capacity and data literacy among postgraduate scholars.
