Exam Crackdown in Rawalpindi led by Controller Tanveer Asghar Awan results in two candidates caught cheating, cases filed and the discipline branch notified.

Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan conducted unannounced inspections at multiple intermediate exam centres in Rawalpindi during the Intermediate Second Annual 2025 examinations and uncovered cheating incidents on the spot.

At the Government Graduate College Satellite Town centre, candidate Rana Muhammad Shoaib Ayub (roll number 804742) was caught cheating, and at the Government Comprehensive Girls Higher Secondary School Dhok Kashmiriyaan centre candidate Mariam Nadeem (roll number 803734) was also apprehended. Following the inspections, cases were registered immediately and detailed reports were forwarded to the board’s discipline branch.

The exam crackdown reflects the board’s priority on fair and transparent examinations. Tanveer Asghar Awan said that transparent exams are the board’s foremost priority and that cheating networks will not be allowed to operate. He added that exam staff are carrying out their duties professionally and honestly to ensure students receive the reward for their hard work.

The board’s teams remain active around the clock to secure the examination process, and the discipline branch will pursue the registered cases according to regulations. The board spokesperson Arslan Ali Cheema confirmed the actions taken and reiterated the commitment to maintaining academic integrity across Rawalpindi exam centres.
