In Islamabad Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal was given a detailed briefing by the Director General Health and his team on the workings of the Health Ministry. The meeting covered all departments and aimed to align priorities across service delivery, regulation and administration.
The presentation examined primary, secondary and tertiary health services and outlined the role of regulatory bodies and ongoing research efforts. Officials highlighted plans for further digitalization, vaccination campaigns and measures to strengthen human resource management to improve patient care and oversight.
The minister stressed that “every wing of the ministry plays an important role” and called for a united effort to build a transparent, public-friendly and effective health system. He underlined the need to enhance monitoring and interconnectivity across departments using digital tools to ensure timely decision making and accountability.
The Health Ministry will focus on translating these briefings into coordinated action, with the DG Health and teams expected to follow up on digital monitoring, vaccination strategies and workforce management to improve outcomes for patients across the country.
