The Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Aamer Ahmed Atozai, received a visiting FPCCI delegation today as representatives from the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry tour the United States to expand Pakistan’s commercial footprint. The visit aims to identify new avenues for trade, investment and business collaboration across key U.S. markets.
Mr. Atozai briefed the delegation on the evolving business environment in the United States and highlighted industry sectors that present promising prospects for Pakistani goods and services. He stressed that closer engagement between private sectors in both countries can help increase bilateral trade volumes and create sustainable commercial ties.
The consul reaffirmed the consulate’s commitment to support the FPCCI delegation in outreach, networking and market entry efforts. He urged the delegation to leverage diaspora linkages, promote Pakistan’s diverse export portfolio and pursue partnerships that deliver long‑term benefits for Pakistani businesses seeking growth in the U.S.
Delegation members welcomed the consulate’s assistance and discussed practical steps to connect Pakistani exporters with U.S. buyers, investors and industry networks. The meeting concluded in New York on 17 November 2025 with a shared resolve to advance Pakistan’s economic interests and deepen trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
