On the sidelines of the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Doha, Federal Minister for IT and Telecom Shaza Fatima Khawaja held a focused meeting with a delegation from the Islamic Development Bank to discuss Pakistan’s digital development and technology-driven economic growth.
The talks covered Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to build a Digital Pakistan based on enhanced connectivity, greater inclusivity and a push for innovation across the tech ecosystem. Both sides explored new avenues for technical cooperation and avenues for investment that can accelerate digital projects in the country.
The minister reiterated the government’s commitment to advance the Digital Nation Pakistan vision and to strengthen joint projects with the Islamic Development Bank. The discussions set the stage for deeper collaboration aimed at expanding digital access and supporting technology-led growth across Pakistan.
