Algerian Envoy Visits RCCI, Calls for Stronger Bilateral Trade and Economic Cooperation

Rawalpindi – The Ambassador of Algeria to Pakistan, H.E. Brahim Romani, visited the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and held an interactive session with members of the business community. He was welcomed by RCCI President Usman Shaukat, Senior Vice President Khalid Farooq Qazi, Vice President Fahad Barlas, and members of the Executive Committee.

Ambassador Romani encouraged Pakistani businessmen to fully capitalize on Algeria’s liberal economic policies, expressing Algeria’s strong interest in expanding trade and economic cooperation with Pakistan. He noted that Pakistan and Algeria signed a bilateral trade agreement in February 2023, and both countries have continued to see stable growth in their trade relations.

RCCI President Usman Shaukat briefed the ambassador on the Chamber’s ongoing initiatives and highlighted the vast potential to increase bilateral trade, particularly in the energy, pharmaceutical, and textile sectors.
