Kazakh Trade Delegation at FoogAg2025 Engages Pakistan

Kazakh trade delegation at FoogAg2025 met Pakistani businesses and trade authorities to expand export and logistics ties and pursue concrete projects.

Sindh Province, November 25-26, 2025 — A 20-company Kazakh trade delegation led by Acting Director A.Taishikov of the Ministry of Trade and Integration and Managing Director B.Akhmetov of the Center for Trade Policy Development QazTrade participated in FoogAg2025 in Karachi, joining an event that featured more than 300 Pakistani agricultural producers and over 800 trading companies from 80 countries.

The Kazakh delegation represented firms across agriculture, information technology, construction and transport and logistics, signalling broad interest in building commercial links with Pakistani partners. Delegates engaged in conversations on supply chains, technology partnerships and export opportunities, with Kazakh trade interests focused on practical cooperation and market entry strategies.

Ambassador Yerzhan Kistafin met with members of the delegation to reaffirm the Embassy’s support for expanding trade and economic cooperation, urged active entry into the Pakistan market and discussed specific projects that could advance bilateral commerce. The meeting underlined the role of diplomatic and business channels in translating interest into deals.

Mr. Ahmed Zafar, Chief Growth Officer of major transport and logistics firm TCS, presented logistical prospects for import and export operations between the two countries, outlining pathways to facilitate cargo movement, customs handling and last-mile delivery that could support increased trade flows.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Pakistan also assisted in arranging negotiations with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan and the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry and organised B2B meetings with the Pakistan business community, creating direct opportunities for Pakistani exporters and Kazakh companies to pursue concrete agreements and partnerships.
