Provincial Minister of Industry, Commerce & Investment Mr. Shafey Hussain held a focused meeting today at the Rawalpindi Chamber where chamber leaders and business representatives discussed priorities for the Ring Road Economic Zone and the immediate challenges facing local industry.
Participants included FPCCI Vice President Tariq Jadoon, RCSTSI Senior Vice President Dost Ali Jan, Rawalpindi Chamber Vice President Asif Javed, and executive members Naseer Ahmad Qureshi, Bashir Mughal and Ishfaqul Hassan. Attendees exchanged views on how the Ring Road Economic Zone can be structured to attract investment, improve logistics and support small traders and small industries in the Rawalpindi region.
The meeting emphasized the need for coordinated action on infrastructure readiness, streamlined regulatory processes and targeted incentives to convert planning into tangible projects. Stakeholders agreed on follow up consultations to turn the Ring Road Economic Zone discussions into initiatives that promote investment, create jobs and strengthen trade for Rawalpindi and Pakistan.
