Islamabad, 4 December 2025 — Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani attended an exhibition supported by the United Nations at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts and toured several galleries to view the artworks on display.
He congratulated the organisers, partner institutions and participants, describing the UN exhibition as a notable example of creative engagement and cultural promotion that helps foster tolerance, harmony and positive thinking across society.
Mr Gilani praised the platform for young and talented artists, saying it allowed them to showcase their ideas, skills and creativity. He emphasised that Pakistan’s artistic potential stands strong alongside global peers.
The Chairman highlighted the United Nations’ role in promoting art and culture in Pakistan and said such initiatives contribute to social cohesion, intellectual growth and national unity. He expressed satisfaction at Pakistan’s capacity to host high-quality events and exhibitions.
Extending special congratulations to organisers and participants, he assured that the Upper House will continue to support the UN exhibition and similar initiatives that advance arts, culture and creative expression in the country.
