EPP met FOSPAH to expand harassment support and safer campuses, hospitals and workplaces. Find out how to access assistance and file complaints.

The Emergency Preparedness Pakistan team held an interactive meeting today with the Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH) to reinforce efforts against harassment nationwide. The session focused on practical measures to promote safe environments in universities, hospitals, public transport and workplaces while explaining how harassment support is delivered through legal and counselling channels.

FOSPAH officials outlined complaint procedures, legal protections and accessible reporting options designed to help anyone facing harassment. Representatives emphasised timely response, confidentiality and coordination with local institutions to ensure survivors can obtain harassment support without undue barriers.

EPP and FOSPAH discussed targeted awareness campaigns and capacity building for students, healthcare staff, commuters and employees so that prevention and response mechanisms are embedded across settings. Both organisations urged institutions to adopt clear reporting processes and staff training so that harassment support reaches those who need it most.

Anyone seeking assistance can contact FOSPAH at 0344-4367367 or visit the official FOSPAH website for guidance and complaint procedures. The EPP team encouraged communities across Pakistan to use these resources and invited readers to check their recent Instagram post for further updates and outreach materials.
