The Asian Productivity Organization partnered with the National Productivity Organization, the Ministry of Industries and Production and the LUMS Energy Institute of Pakistan to hold the Conference on Green Productivity 2.0 in Lahore on 28–29 November, bringing together 114 participants from government, academia and industry.
Speakers and delegates examined practical measures to raise productivity while cutting environmental impact, with case studies and policy discussions focused on adapting Green Productivity principles to Pakistani manufacturing and services.
The LUMS Energy Institute facilitated sessions that connected research with industry priorities, while ministry representatives outlined regulatory and support mechanisms to help firms implement energy efficiency and sustainable practices across supply chains.
Participants included senior officials, university researchers and industry leaders who emphasized collaboration to turn conference outcomes into actionable plans, reflecting a growing commitment to Green Productivity across Pakistan’s industrial and public sectors.
