Pakistan Bar Council Strengthens Legal Education at IUB

Pakistan Bar Council and IUB leaders meet to advance Legal Education, exploring collaboration on training, curriculum and student opportunities.

Barrister Usama Malik, Director Legal Education Pakistan Bar Council, and Mr. Saqib Faraz, Deputy Director Legal Education Pakistan Bar Council, met today with Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran Worthy, Vice Chancellor of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, and Prof. Dr. Rao Imran Habib, Dean of the Faculty of Law at IUB.

The meeting focused on strengthening legal education at the university with discussions around potential collaboration on curriculum enhancement, professional training programmes, internship placement support and expanded moot court activities to give students greater practical exposure.

Both the Pakistan Bar Council delegation and IUB leadership emphasized the importance of close cooperation to raise legal education standards, improve readiness for legal practice and create pathways for student engagement that benefit Bahawalpur and the wider legal community.
