Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal conducted an on-site visit to the Sindh Institute of Child Health and Neonatology at the Korangi children’s hospital to review the performance of various departments and the state of available facilities. During the visit he assessed clinical areas, neonatal care sections and support services to get a firsthand understanding of operational strengths and gaps.
The minister observed patient flow and service delivery across pediatric and neonatal units and spoke with medical staff about day-to-day challenges. Emphasis was placed on ensuring that neonatal services remain well equipped and staffed to meet local needs, and that routine processes support timely and effective child healthcare at Korangi Hospital.
