Gandhara Theme Show Highlights Buddhist Heritage

Attend the Gandhara theme show on 13 December in Islamabad to explore Buddhist artefacts, culture and fashion at IFQ Hotel and Resort.

On 13 December 2025 Islamabad will host a Gandhara theme show at IFQ Hotel and Resort to showcase Pakistan’s Buddhist heritage and the living traditions of Taxila, Mardan, Swat and Hazara. The event is designed to bring ancient artefacts, regional habitats and traditional fashion to a wider audience while promoting religious harmony by connecting history.

The programme features a Buddha theme walk and a presentation titled Gandhara Civilization history revealed alongside themed segments that explore Cleopatra history beauty, the folk love story of Sohni Mahiwal and a portrayal of Razia Sultana that highlights women empowerment. Folk songs and cultural displays will accompany the fashion presentations to create an immersive experience that links heritage and contemporary creativity.

Design contributions come from Mani Collection and Noor Posh Collection with Creative Assistant Harry Awan supporting the presentations. Back Stage Production is organizing the event with sponsors Gandhara Properties, HiFi Holiday Club, Diplomatic Insight Group and Global Business Alliance. Photography and videography will be provided by Hilook and Asif Excellence with Babar Choudhry and Bilal on videography while Wandee Salon will manage grooming and styling.

The show expects an audience of corporate and business leaders, members of showbiz, diplomats and government representatives and aims to educate the new generation about rich cultural history through fashion and storytelling.
