Abdul Aleem Khan meets business leaders to advance transport reforms, promote investment and strengthen public private partnership in Islamabad.

In Islamabad, Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan met with Chaudhry Abdul Raouf, chairman of Fair Deal Marketing, and Muhammad Naveed Malik, former senior vice president of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to discuss matters of mutual interest.

The discussion centered on promoting business and trade activities and on targeted measures to improve the communications sector. The minister said the government is taking serious steps to provide facilities to the business community and to strengthen cooperation with the private sector, stressing that transport reforms are central to easing commerce and logistics.

Participants also reviewed prospects for national development, investment opportunities and public private partnership arrangements to accelerate project delivery. Chaudhry Abdul Raouf and Muhammad Naveed Malik welcomed the minister’s initiatives, outlined the challenges faced by businesses and expressed optimism that closer government-private sector collaboration will yield positive results.

The meeting highlighted concrete areas where transport reforms and PPPs can attract investment and improve service delivery across Islamabad and beyond, and both sides agreed to continue engagement to implement practical solutions.
