Ruhani Talba meet at Dargah Tahiri in Rawalpindi to review humanitarian projects, present annual report and swear in new office-bearers for 2026.

At a gathering held at Dargah Tahiri in Rawalpindi, central Secretary General Ghulam Muhammad Memon underscored that combining worship with human kindness and working to alleviate people’s suffering represents a superior form of devotion and service in the way of Allah. The meeting brought together provincial and district leaders to discuss community relief efforts and organizational progress.

Provincial leaders Fayyazuddin, Habib ur Rehman, Asghar and Ali attended the session and met with Khalifa Syed Muhammad Arif Shah, the sajjada nashin of Dargah Tahiri, to deliberate on key matters. The presence of Jamaat Islah Muslimeen district Rawalpindi Zone 1 officials and Ruhani Talba provincial and district representatives reinforced the gathering’s focus on coordinated social work.

President Muhammad Arslan Tahiri presented the Ruhani Talba annual performance report, highlighting monthly ration distribution, weekly spiritual gatherings, the annual tree-planting campaign and other organizational activities. Provincial leaders were briefed in detail on these relief and community initiatives and their local impact.

The district body election was conducted during the meeting and the newly elected office-bearers for 2026 took the oath of office. Emphasis was placed on strengthening internal organization, improving program delivery and expanding humanitarian outreach across the zone.

Central Secretary General Memon urged Jamaat Islah Muslimeen to further refine organizational processes and addressed Ruhani Talba office-bearers with encouragement and guidance. The gathering concluded with special prayers for national security, stability and prosperity, and for the welfare of the Pakistan Armed Forces, the judiciary, police and other law enforcement institutions.
