Students Visit Parliament House Islamabad

Student delegation toured Parliament House Islamabad for a guided museum briefing and parliamentary orientation hosted by Senate Secretariat officials.

A delegation of students visited Parliament House Islamabad on 24 December 2025 at the invitation of Senator Gurdip Singh, receiving a formal welcome from Senate Secretariat officials upon arrival.

The group was guided through the Senate Museum where officials provided detailed briefings on the history of parliament, the legislative process, the role of the Senate and its constitutional responsibilities, giving students a clear view of how lawmaking functions within Parliament House.

During a walk along Gali-e-Dastoor the delegation learned about Pakistan’s constitutional evolution and notable historic laws, and later toured the Senate Hall to observe explanations of upper house procedures and long-standing parliamentary traditions.

Students described the study tour as an informative and useful educational experience, expressing gratitude to the Senate Secretariat and Senator Gurdip Singh for the guidance that enhanced their understanding of civic duties and the workings of Parliament House.
