Iranian Ambassador Extends New Year 2026 Greetings to Pakistan

Iran Pakistan ties highlighted as Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam sends New Year 2026 greetings, pledging stronger cooperation, security and regional partnership.

Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, has extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the Government of Pakistan and the brotherly, friendly, and neighboring people of Pakistan on the joyous occasion of the New Year 2026. He expressed hopes for health, prosperity, success, peace, and shared progress in the coming year, along with the opening of new avenues for further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

In his New Year message, the Iranian Ambassador paid special tribute to President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, members of the federal cabinet, Speaker and members of the National Assembly, and Chairman and members of the Senate for their strong political will and valuable efforts in promoting bilateral relations. He said that the exchange of high-level delegations and brotherly support from Pakistan have played a vital role in deepening Iran–Pakistan ties.

Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam also conveyed his profound appreciation to the Pakistan Army and self-sacrificing security forces for their significant contributions to enhancing cooperation, ensuring security and stability along the common borders, and particularly for their role in the fight against terrorism.

He noted that the year 2025 proved to be a historic and highly successful year in Iran–Pakistan relations, as bilateral ties reached unprecedented heights due to the firm resolve of the leadership of both countries, tireless efforts of government institutions, and the patience and steadfast support of the people. During the year, both countries extended mutual support in regional and international forums, further strengthening their partnership.

The Iranian Ambassador expressed confidence that bilateral relations will continue to grow stronger in the future, serving the interests of both nations and contributing jointly to regional and international peace and stability. He emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran and its people will never forget Pakistan’s strong and principled support during the twelve-day war.

Reiterating his New Year greetings, Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam wished the people of Pakistan continued peace, prosperity, and success in the year 2026.
