In Islamabad on January 16, 2026 the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production, Haroon Akhtar Khan, met with prominent industrialist SM Tanveer and his delegation to review Pakistan’s economic policies and industrial outlook.

The discussions covered national economic policies, pathways for industrial growth, and measures to strengthen the macroeconomic situation.
