Ambassador Muhammad Saeed Sarwar pledged support to Pakistani medical students in Tajikistan, aiming to ease academic matters and improve their stay abroad.

During a recent meeting with the Honorable Rector of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University, Ambassador Muhammad Saeed Sarwar discussed avenues to further facilitate academic matters and the stay of Pakistani medical students studying in Tajikistan. The discussions centred on enhancing coordination between the embassy and the university to address student concerns and streamline support.

Officials explored practical steps that could ease administrative processes, strengthen consular assistance and improve academic liaison so students can pursue their studies without unnecessary disruption. Conversations also touched on welfare arrangements, including measures to support accommodation, timely documentation and the prompt resolution of any issues raised by Pakistani students.

The embassy in Dushanbe will continue to engage with Avicenna Tajik State Medical University to follow up on agreed measures and maintain open channels for student support. Ambassador Sarwar emphasised the importance of safeguarding the interests of Pakistani nationals abroad and reiterated the mission’s commitment to assisting Pakistani medical students during their time in Tajikistan.
