Following an explosion caused by a gas leakage in Sector G-7/2, Islamabad, Member of the National Assembly Asfandyar Bhandara visited the site to assess the situation and meet affected residents. The Islamabad gas leak damaged several houses and left families facing hardship during the winter months.
Accompanying the MNA were Bishop Siddiq Gul of the New Apostolic Church and Waisal Siddiq Gul, Coordinator of Pakistan Muslim League-N Rawalpindi Division, who joined him in speaking directly with those impacted by the incident.
Speaking with affected residents, Asfandyar Bhandara stressed that standing with people in times of grief and hardship is a shared human responsibility and that families should not feel alone. In view of the cold weather and the damage to several homes from the Islamabad gas leak explosion, he distributed warm blankets among the affected families to provide relief during the ongoing winter season.
The visit underscored immediate community support measures following the incident and highlighted the need for continued attention to recovery and assistance as residents cope with the consequences of the Islamabad gas leak.
