Ambassador of Pakistan to China H.E. Mr. Khalil Hashmi inaugurated a pictorial exhibition of the history, heritage and diversity of Pakistan in Hong Kong as part of the kickstart for commemorative activities of PakChinaAt75. The Pak China exhibition presents collages that trace cultural, historical and regional facets of Pakistan to a Hong Kong audience.
The collages on display, covering a range of themes, were donated by the Embassy of Pakistan to JDB Group Hong Kong and Harvest Epoch Strategic (International Investment) Ltd. The embassy expressed gratitude for the generous allocation of space by the hosts, which has enabled wider public access to the exhibits.
Young children and students from several universities across Hong Kong evinced keen interest in the images and stories captured in the displays. Organisers acknowledged the role of the China International Cultural Communication Center in coordinating the exhibition and facilitating engagement with local communities.
The event underlines the role of cultural outreach in strengthening bilateral ties and will serve as an early highlight in the calendar of PakChinaAt75 activities in Hong Kong. The Pak China exhibition aims to deepen appreciation of Pakistan’s heritage among the city’s residents and visiting scholars.
