Mustafa Kamal inaugurated the sixth telemedicine center in Karachi, calling the initiative a practical step toward fulfilling promises of public welfare.

Speaking at the opening, Mustafa Kamal said the Ministry of Health is implementing effective and modern measures to strengthen the primary healthcare system. He emphasized that telemedicine has become indispensable for reducing the pressure on hospitals created by a growing population.

The new Telemedicine Center, the minister said, will provide equal and high-quality medical services to people in different areas, helping to ensure consistent standards of care regardless of location. Expanding telemedicine access is intended to ease congestion at tertiary hospitals and bring primary healthcare closer to communities across Karachi.

The Karachi facility marks the sixth center in the network and reflects a continued push by the health ministry to modernize services and translate public welfare commitments into tangible healthcare solutions through technology.
