Dr Muhammad Zaeem Zia, CEO of the Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority, met with representatives from waste management firms to discuss the handling and disposal of bio-medical waste in the capital. During the discussion the delegation placed particular emphasis on enhancing waste management systems and ensuring the efficient operation of incinerators to guarantee safe disposal of bio-medical waste.
