Syedal Khan inaugurated the 16th International Fire, Safety, Security & Power exhibition Safe Secure Pakistan and the 19th International Power & Energy Industry Exhibition POGEE Pakistan 2026 at the Pak-China Friendship Centre in Islamabad, held from 10 to 12 February 2026. Serving as chief guest, he underscored the exhibitions’ role in bringing modern security and energy solutions to Pakistan.
The Acting Chairman said security can no longer rest with a single institution and must be treated as a national priority. He stressed that evolving threats demand technology-driven responses, and that events like Safe Secure Pakistan are vital for exposing local stakeholders to advanced tools in surveillance, firefighting and emergency response.
The exhibits featured state-of-the-art surveillance systems, modern firefighting equipment, bulletproof vehicle solutions and advanced security cameras, alongside innovations from the energy sector. Syedal Khan noted that contemporary security cameras now function as proactive crime prevention tools and warned that inadequate firefighting systems can lead to heavy human and economic losses.
Highlighting the potential economic impact, he observed that companies taking part in Safe Secure Pakistan and POGEE Pakistan 2026 can support industrial growth by introducing sustainable, workplace safety and emergency-response technologies. He praised organisers and exhibitors for their efforts and assured full cooperation with stakeholders to promote innovative initiatives in security technology and energy solutions.
During his visit to exhibition stalls the Acting Chairman received detailed briefings on new systems and reiterated the collective aim of building a safe, strong and stable Pakistan, encouraging wider adoption of modern security and fire safety measures across public and private sectors.
