BISP has launched a digital dashboard under the Benazir Nashonuma Programme that places real-time nutrition data at the center of decision-making, enabling faster responses and more informed policy choices. The new nutrition dashboard is designed to give programme managers and local stakeholders a clear, current view of service delivery for mothers and children across Pakistan.
The tool was inaugurated by Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson BISP, alongside Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, DG NSER Dr Asim Ijaz, Secretary Poverty Alleviation Naveed Ahmad Sheikh, and WFP Country Director Coco Ushiyama. Their presence underlines the collaborative effort between BISP and development partners to strengthen data-driven social protection.
The dashboard brings together key indicators on mothers enrolled in the programme, children receiving nutrition support, children who have graduated from services, and overall programme reach and progress, while also tracking the number of Facilitation Centres and Nutrition Stabilization Centres operating nationwide. By consolidating these metrics in one platform, the nutrition dashboard offers a single source of truth for monitoring implementation on the ground.
For policymakers, programme teams and communities, the dashboard is an important advance in accountability and operational planning. Access to timely, accurate insights will help target resources, improve referrals and scale up interventions where gaps are identified, ultimately supporting better nutrition outcomes for Pakistan’s children and strengthening delivery of maternal and child services across provinces.
