tapmad has secured exclusive Subscription Video-on-Demand (SVOD) rights in Pakistan for Pakistan Super League Season 11, along with global digital Video-on-Demand (VOD) rights for clips, highlights and related digital content derived from the official broadcast feed. The rights were obtained through a strategic partnership with Walee, the official media rights holder for PSL 11.
The tapmad PSL agreement means Pakistani subscribers will have access to a premium, ad-free viewing service in HD quality. Through its SVOD package, tapmad will offer uninterrupted streaming so fans can watch match coverage and on-demand content anytime and anywhere on compatible devices.
In addition to local SVOD rights, tapmad will hold exclusive global VOD rights for highlights and clips, enabling the platform to distribute key moments and highlight packages to audiences worldwide through its digital channels. This global scope gives tapmad the ability to package and promote PSL moments beyond Pakistan.
Yassir Pasha, CEO of tapmad, said the move reflects the company’s focus on bringing premium cricket content to Pakistani audiences, noting that the platform will prioritise quality viewing and accessibility for fans. Zain Pasha, Deputy CEO, emphasised that securing exclusive SVOD rights in Pakistan alongside global VOD rights for highlights is part of tapmad’s broader strategy to expand digital sports offerings.
The partnership with Walee and the new rights acquisition reinforce tapmad’s position among Pakistan’s leading streaming services, built on strategic collaborations and continued investment in premium content. With the tapmad PSL rights in place, cricket followers in Pakistan can expect a seamless digital experience while international viewers gain new ways to catch the league’s standout moments.
