With the arrival of spring the Horticulture Agency in Rawalpindi has launched focused efforts to enhance Liaquat Bagh, making the historic park more attractive for residents and visitors. Under the direction of Managing Director Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, teams have completed decoration, renovation and a program of regular maintenance for colorful flowers and plants throughout the grounds.
Work has extended beyond the park itself, with significant horticultural improvements carried out on the green belts of Liaquat Road to ensure a cohesive visual experience across the area. Shrubs, seasonal bedding plants and fresh plantings have been tended to with care, presenting a vivid spring landscape that draws public attention.
The agency has also implemented measures to protect plantings from weather-related damage so that growth continues uninterrupted. Routine pruning, soil care and protective arrangements have been prioritized to preserve the health and appearance of flowers and greenery during changing conditions.
