Rawalpindi Board activates command center and arrests eight for cheating to strengthen exam security across centers and enforce zero tolerance.

Under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision and on the directives of Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi has stepped up measures to ensure fair examinations and stronger exam security across the district.

Commissioner and Chairman Engineer Aamir Khattak has activated a modern command and control center to provide continuous monitoring of exam centres, enabling real-time oversight of exam activity. The command center has been credited with reducing incidents of malpractice and tightening the net around organised cheating operations.

Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan reported that eight candidates were caught red-handed while attempting to cheat. Cases have been registered against those candidates and forwarded to the board office discipline branch for further action. The incidents involved candidates at Government Elite High School Morgah, Government High School Chak Beli Khan and Government Boys High School Jatha Hothial.

As part of the expanded monitoring effort, officials visited several centres including Government Boys High School Dhok Kashmirian (Centre A and B), Government Girls Higher Secondary School Dhok Kashmirian, Government Associate College on Murree Road, Government High School Dhalla, Government Higher Secondary School Basali, and Government Boys High School Jatha Hothial to review arrangements and ensure compliance with exam rules.

Board officials reiterated their commitment to a zero tolerance policy toward malpractice and said that continued use of the command and control setup will strengthen exam security and protect merit-based outcomes for students across Rawalpindi.
