Islamabad — May 5, 2026. The Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, visited the Danish School Islamabad to review final preparations ahead of the Prime Minister’s inauguration scheduled for May 7, 2026. The visit reflects the Ministry’s focus on expanding modern learning environments and access to quality education across the capital.
On arrival the minister was briefed by the project director on the development timeline, key features and readiness for the inauguration. The Danish School’s state-of-the-art campus includes modern classrooms, laboratories, a well-stocked library and residential facilities designed to provide equal opportunities to students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
During a comprehensive tour, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui inspected academic and residential blocks and expressed satisfaction with the standards of infrastructure and planning. He emphasized that institutions like the Danish School are vital for education reform and the development of human capital that will support Pakistan’s long-term progress.
The minister also met with students, congratulated newly admitted boys and girls and encouraged them to remain dedicated to their studies. He commended the administration and project team for their efforts, noting that the Danish School Islamabad is intended to serve as a model institution aligned with the government’s vision of a progressive, knowledge-based society.
The Prime Minister’s inauguration on May 7 will formally launch this flagship educational initiative and reinforce the government’s commitment to investing in inclusive, high-quality institutions for future generations.
