Ambassador Meets French NGOs in Pakistan

French NGOs met Islamabad ambassador to discuss support for projects and reinforce aid for vulnerable communities across Pakistan.

A fruitful meeting took place at the French Embassy in Islamabad between the ambassador and representatives of eight French NGOs active in Pakistan: Acted, Action contre la Faim, Handicap International, Médecins du monde, Médecins sans frontières, Secours islamique France, Solidarités international and Triangle Generation humanitaire.

The discussions were rich and informative, giving each organisation an opportunity to outline current projects, operational needs and the communities they serve. The ambassador reiterated France’s support for the work these French NGOs carry out on the ground in favour of vulnerable populations across Pakistan.

Participants exchanged perspectives on coordination, local challenges and avenues for continued collaboration, underlining the role of French NGOs in providing humanitarian assistance and development support in the country. The meeting strengthened ties between the embassy and civil society actors working to reach the most vulnerable.

France expressed its continued commitment to backing projects led by French NGOs in Pakistan and to supporting sustained efforts that benefit disadvantaged communities nationwide.
