The session examined IDSRS progress across all provinces with presentations on provincial surveillance data, reporting trends, operational achievements and the most pressing implementation challenges facing the programme.

All national-level IDSRS surveillance, laboratory and data management staff participated and provided detailed updates from their respective areas of responsibility. Delegates discussed coordination and liaison activities with provincial health departments, sharing insights on data quality, timeliness of reporting and examples of operational improvements that are driving measurable IDSRS progress in different regions.

The Project Director reviewed the overall trajectory of the initiative and offered strategic guidance to address identified gaps and challenges.
